LG yesterday unveiled its new smartphone called the LG G2 Mini. It is already clear from the name that this is a reduced version of the popular brother LG G2. The first information that comes regarding this phone says that it is a device with a lower price range and quite a decent specification.
Unlike other manufacturers, LG, as things stand, decided to make a somewhat more modest model. And while the mini models from Samsung, HTC, and Sony give very good performance and cost not so cheap, it remains to be seen what the LG G2 Mini will be able to offer us.

The phone has a fairly large 4.7-inch screen. However, when it comes to resolution, with 540 × 960 pixels, this model can’t really boast of that. What is good about it is that this is an IPS LCD panel, the one that was also used with the larger LG G2.
The LG G2 Mini will be produced in LTE and 3G versions, but their processor will be common. It is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 unit with a clock speed of 1.2GHz. However, LG will offer the South American market a quad-core 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 4i processor.
The LG G2 Mini will also appear in a dual SIM version, which will be aimed at emerging markets. Also, it is interesting that the model for the South American market will have a camera of as much as 13MP. The rest of the world will have an 8MP camera, combined with a 1.3MP front camera. The LG G2 Mini comes with 8GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM. The phone will also have a MicroSD slot for capacity expansion.
When it comes to the rest of the specifications, the LG G2 Mini will have 2,440mAh, while the 4G version will also have an NFC connection, while both variants will include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and other typical connections. The LG G2 Mini will run on 4.4 KitKat Android along with some LG options.

At first glance, the phone looks like its older brother, which is to be expected. Compared to the LG G2, the mini version is shorter and narrower, but also slightly thicker and weighs 121g. The phone will be available in titanium black, moon white, red, and gold.

LG did not specify exactly which markets the LG G2 Mini will reach, but it is certain that Europe will be among them. When it comes to the price, we have to wait for the World Mobile Congress when it will be announced.
