As 2015 draws to a close, it is time to remind ourselves of all the smartphones we have met this year and which of them can boast that the best phones of 2015 are the choice of buyers.

Before we begin, we must emphasize that this was an exceptional year for the mobile device industry. We had the opportunity to see how manufacturers are trying to go a step further than their competitors, how our phones are getting bigger and thinner, and how they are becoming an unavoidable part of our everyday life.

And now, let’s see which models are the best phones of 2015!

Samsung Galaxy S6

Of course, we start with Samsung, for a simple reason – this model was first introduced to us. The Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched in April and immediately managed to amaze us and position itself as a very good alternative to the iPhone. Very nice design, powerful hardware, and a bunch of small improvements very quickly made this phone extremely desirable around the world and to deserve its place on the list of “Best Phones of 2015”. Some of the interesting things that the Samsung Galaxy S6 brings are that it can be charged without a cable and that in just 10 minutes its battery will be fully charged.

Needless to say, the Samsung Galaxy S6 uses an Android operating system that is enriched with a Samsung Touch interface, thus providing a great user experience.

Why do we love him? Because he is irresistible!

HTC One M9

Immediately after the Samsung Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9 arrived, so it undeservedly remained in its shadow. The HTC One M9 is the successor to HTC’s M8 model and has inherited most of its features – very powerful speakers, metal cases, and a quality display. What the HTC One M9 can’t boast of is the camera, but this is a flaw that we can forgive and give it a place on the list of “Best Phones of 2015”. This is one exceptional phone that adorns HTC’s simplicity and compactness.

Why do we love him? Because we loved the HTC One M8.

LG G4

Already in May, a new superstar of the mobile world arrived – LG G4. What you will first notice on this elegant model is the leatherback that gives it a special touch. Apart from the look, the LG G4 stands out from the competition with its performance. It is fast, stable, and responds very well to most user requests.

There is also one special novelty that adorns the LG G4 – it is a front camera of as much as 5 megapixels. That is exactly what brought him the title of the ultimate selfie phone and a place on the list of “Best Phones of 2015”. And of course, you guessed it, this model is the main culprit for the avalanche of phones that have improved front cameras, and 5 megapixels have become a standard that cannot be bypassed.

Why do we love him? Because it makes our selfies look fantastic!

iPhone 6S

Apple has once again managed to surprise us and redefine the way we use our mobile phones. As they say themselves, nothing has changed on the new iPhone 6S, except for everything. Of course, there are a lot of exaggerations, but let’s say that several things have been improved – processor, cameras, display.

And what’s really new is the 3D Touch. This is a technology that introduces a third dimension in the handling of smartphones and allows us to control the device with pressure. Many claim that this technology was known even before the iPhone 6S, but it was certainly not so promoted and so popular. The best confirmation of the success of the new iPhone is the 13 million copies sold only on the first weekend after launch. So you now say that Apple has no idea

Why do we love him? Because he is flawless.

Google Nexus 6P

Verge, USA Today, and Wired agree that this is the best Android phone made so far and that it’s really fantastic to see everything working on it perfectly. Equipped with a very powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with as many as eight cores running at 2 GHz and a battery of as much as 3450 mah, the Google Nexus 6P is more powerful than most average computers. Another curiosity of his model is that currently only on this beauty you can use Android’s last candy – Marshmallow. We didn’t expect anything less from Google, which is why the Google Nexus 6P is on our list of “Best Phones of 2015”

Why do we love him? Because this is the perfect Android device, finally!

Sony Xperia Z5

After the summer fiasco with the Sony Xperia Z3 + model, Sony had to make repairs, so this fall it delivered a much better and more interesting model. The Sony Xperia Z5 is a model that can compete with competitors much more successfully, both in terms of hardware characteristics and software. The new version of Sony’s interface makes Android look completely different and gives it a more elegant and sophisticated look.

However, that’s not all, as there are other reasons why the Sony Xperia Z5 is on the “Best Phones of 2015” list. What the Sony Xperia Z5 is most proud of and what makes it stand out is the camera. The camera is as much as 23 megapixels this camera has set a serious home for 2016 to all other mobile phone manufacturers. And we can’t wait to see what their response will be.

Why do we love him? Because James Bond loves him too.

These are the phones that were most interesting to us in 2015, which does not mean that there were no more interesting models. This has been an exceptional year for the mobile world, and it is even more excitement ahead of us. What we expect is to see what kind of response Samsung has prepared for the challenges posed to it by Apple and Sony, whether Nokia will manage to get out of the crisis, which flagship model Huawei is preparing for 2016, whether Windows phones will manage to fight for a more serious market share and much more.
