In order to prevent youthful pimples, we first need to determine what type of skin we have. People with oily skin usually have problems with pimples, and we give you information about what problems it creates and how to care for oily skin in order to avoid these problems.

There are many reasons for the appearance of youthful pimples, but among the most common causes is adipose tissue, often associated with excess weight. In addition, pimples are caused by abundant secretion of sebum, as well as active hormonal secretions that are common during puberty.

Oily skin is more malnourished than normal or dry skin, and it secretes excess fat which causes hairiness and pimples. Also, a great oily complexion occurs in people who are prone to excessive sweating.

Types of oily skin

There are two forms of oily skin:

  • Oily skin, which secretes sebum without interference so that it comes to the surface of the skin and covers it, giving it an oily appearance;
  • Grainy skin, where sebum cannot penetrate the surface of the skin, which directly causes the outbreak of youthful pimples. The surface of the grainy skin is not oily, but rough, clogged with pimples and blackheads, which leaves a false impression of dry skin. This can lead you to make a mistake in assessing your skin type, and therefore to care for it incorrectly.

Oily skincare

The most important thing for any skin type is its regular cleansing, proper skincare, and appropriate cosmetics. This is especially true for oily skin, which requires the most thorough care, and often the advice of a beautician.

Due to the secretion of sebaceous glands, the channels in the skin fill up quickly and blackheads and acne appear. If the oily skin is not cleaned regularly, which is at least once in 15 days, there would be problems with inflammatory processes, the formation of pus in the subcutaneous tissue, which would spread from the face to the skin of the neck, head, décolleté and back.

Oily skin requires compliance with certain rules, especially when it comes to the use of makeup. Applying makeup on problematic oily and acne-prone skin is not recommended.

Men, on the other hand, need a regular shave, and if it is grainy skin, special care is needed when shaving, so that the razor does not injure the bumps caused by pimples on the face.

Daily care for oily skin should start in the morning. It is recommended that you first cleanse your face with a lotion or some antiseptic tonic, such as a 3 % boric acid solution because this type of skin is prone to frequent infections. After cleansing with the solution, rinse your face with lukewarm water without using soap.

Then apply the same agent (lotion, tonic) again. If you feel the need, you can clean your face with lotion several times during the day. In that way, you will eliminate excess fat deposits, and the skin will no longer shine, which is not a nice appearance at all.

In the evening, before going to bed, clean your face first with milk, then with lotion, and rinse with water.

Apply skin cleansing and refreshing masks once a week.

Use cream for oily skin

It is not recommended to apply the cream on oily skin during the day, but only in the evening, and not every night, but only occasionally. Hold the cream on your face for about twenty minutes, and soak up the rest with a tissue, and let the skin breathe. If you are over 30, you can alternate between nourishing and moisturizing cream.

Nutrition

Diet is the first thing you need to regulate if you want to prevent pimples. Minimize the intake of vegetable and animal fats, as well as alcohol, cigarettes, and coffee. All these foods lead to a more active secretion of sebaceous glands.

People who have problems with oily skin and the appearance of pimples should eat as many raw fruits and vegetables as possible, one portion must be in the morning, on an empty stomach. Sweets are forbidden, and dinner should be no later than 7 pm, after which nothing should be eaten until morning.

Spend time in nature

Oxygen exchange is very important (as well as the mountain sun) for the skin and the whole organism. Go out in nature, exercise every day, sunbathe, but in moderation.

Egg white mask for oily skin

Mix the whipped foam of one egg white with a few drops of lemon juice. Keep it on your face until it tightens and dries. Then rinse with lukewarm water, then rinse the washed face with cold water to tighten the pores and give the skin a nice color.
