Nokia has introduced a third variation on the X2 theme. It is the Nokia x2-02 model, a classic-looking phone that comes to us after X2 and X2-05 models. In this article, I give you my Nokia X2-02 review.
At first glance, one gets the impression, or perhaps the question arises, whether Nokia really needs to continue producing phones like this. However, the Nokia x2-02 brings significant improvements over the original model and a price tag in the budget range! Appropriate “goods” were certainly obtained for that money.
One of the main reasons why you should get the Nokia x2-02 (apart from the traditional Nokia reliability) is the possibility of using two SIM cards. What is to be commended is that another card can be inserted into the phone via the slot located on the side of the phone.
The Nokia x2-02 supports GPRS and EDGE technologies, so you shouldn’t expect any high speeds when it comes to connectivity. The phone has a simple 2.2-inch TFT screen (240 x 320 pixels resolution), while the base has a basic 2-megapixel camera.
This phone becomes more interesting when you enter its menu and you can see that there is an MP3 player, Bluetooth 2.1, MicroSD slot and FM radio. What particularly thrilled us was that the phone in this price range has an FM transmitter, so you can listen to music from the Nokia x2-02 via a stereo or audio system, or another phone with this option.
The good thing is that the FM antenna is internal, so there is no need to pull it out. At the same time, listening to music through this phone will be more than satisfying, considering that Nokia has made an effort to incorporate strong speakers, so you will feel as if you are listening to your favorite songs through a far stronger and better device.
Even though the Nokia x2-02 stays at 2.5G, Nokia Browser will make surfing the internet not so slow. The X2-02 also has support for social networks and the ability to download Java applications, so you won’t be too bored with it.
