The iPhone 5C made history with its appearance. The reason for that is that this is the first low-budget model that Apple presents. The iPhone 5C was unveiled last night at a joint event in California.
The slogan under which Apple wants to promote this phone is “more fun, more colors”, which is logical if we know that the iPhone 5C will be sold in several colors, which is an additional novelty when it comes to the iPhone. Speaking of which, the “C” label is most likely from colors, ie. symbolizes the colors of the phone.

The iPhone 5C has dimensions of 124.4 x 59.2 x 8.97mm and weighs 132 grams, which would mean that the phone is slightly bulkier and heavier than the iPhone 5. The justification for this can be found in the larger battery that Apple opted for this model.
Speaking of the battery, it is able to provide 10 hours of talk time over the 3G network, or 250 hours in standby mode.

The cheap iPhone uses an 8MP iSight camera along with an LED flash, which it took from the iPhone 5. A small shift is reflected in the front camera which is claimed to work better in low light conditions. It has 1.2MP and is capable of making 720p video.

It is interesting that the iPhone 5C will be on sale from August 20 (that is, only 10 days after the presentation). What is even more interesting, however, is its price, which, according to the first information, will be around 550 dollars (without a contractual obligation) for the version with 16GB of memory. Sales will first start in 10 selected markets, while a little later it will cover over 100 countries and 270 operators.
