BlackBerry Z30 Review

BlackBerry prepared one big surprise today. This brand of mobile phones has decided to present its new leading phone to the world – the BlackBerry Z30. It is the largest phone RIM has ever produced, and its main feature is a 5-inch SUPER AMOLED display with a great 1280×720 resolution, which is a significant increase compared to the 4.2-inch screen from the BlackBerry Z10 model.

BlackBerry Z30 specification

When we take into account other aspects of the quality of the new model, it seems that the BlackBerry Z30 brings the most improvements when it comes to the screen, because in other respects it differs very little from the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10.

So, the BlackBerry Z30 runs on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor at 1.7GHz, then on 2GB of RAM, 16GB for data storage + a microSD slot as a memory expansion option.

Among other things, I should mention the largest battery on a BlackBerry so far. With a capacity of 2,880mAh, it can be said that this is a big step forward for the BlackBerry. When it comes to cameras, the main one has 8 and the front one 2MP. There is also a 4G connection.

Interestingly, the BlackBerry Z30 uses the same antenna technology seen on the BlackBerry Z10, which provides excellent connection quality even with minimal signal reception.

The BlackBerry Z30 comes with the BlackBerry 10.2 OS

The BlackBerry Z30 comes with a new 10.2 version of the BlackBerry 10 operating system, which brings a handful of new options, including the BlackBerry Priority Hub, a special part of the already famous BlackBerry Hub, which remembers important conversations and people you frequently interact with and allows you easy access to them.

There is of course also the option to access BBM messages. In addition to the new options of the new version of the OS, it is commendable that the owners of the Z10, Q10, and Q5 models will be able to count on an update in mid-October.

BlackBerry Z30 first impression and sales

Can the new model move things out of place with the new model? So when the refreshing BlackBerry Z10 was unveiled in January, the public embraced the new ideas that came from RIM in a positive tone.

With the BlackBerry Z30, this manufacturer is slowly entering the category of phones/phablets. Hand on heart, the 720p screen is not something revolutionary, but with a larger diagonal, the BlackBerry Z30 can certainly count on a nice success, especially for sincere fans of this platform.

The BlackBerry Z30 will begin its journey to customers as early as next week, when it embarks on a journey to the Middle East and certain European markets, while in the rest of the world the BlackBerry Z30 is expected sometime around the New Year.
