Apple iPad 3 Review

The new Apple iPad has arrived, the “New iPad”, and not the iPad 3 or iPad HD, as there has been a lot of speculation in the media these days. It seems that Apple has decided to give the new device a lot of new features and quality, but not a name. So be careful not to get confused, not to buy the wrong iPad by any chance. This shouldn’t be surprising, because Apple simply calls its device the iPad, and which generation the customer wants is up to them to decide.

The first man of Apple, Tim Cook, presented the long-awaited device that quite logically has a visibly better screen with a sharper image and a faster processor. The dimensions are also a novelty because the new tablet is slightly thinner and heavier compared to its predecessor.

The battery is the main reason for that, since the new screen consumes more power, so a little extra capacity is needed. Therefore, the new iPad 3 is 9.4mm thick and weighs 0.64kg. Battery life remained roughly the same: about 10 hours.

According to people from Apple, the new Ultra-Resolution Retina screen will have a sharper image than the high-definition screens, which are built into the new generation TVs and will display more colors than the previous one.

The screen of the new iPad 3 has a diagonal of 9.7 inches and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Thanks to that, users will be able to watch videos in 1080p resolution.

So that the screen doesn’t take all the credit when it comes to image quality, we will also mention the new powerful A5X Quad Core. You don’t have to talk much about him – the name says it all. And the camera is better than the previous one and is similar to that of the iPhone 4S. It will have 5MP, a five-element lens, and an infrared filter.

How much Apple believes in its new product is confirmed by the words of their boss Tim Cook, who said at the presentation of the new iPod in San Francisco that it is “a completely new level that redefines the category that Apple established with the original iPad.”

The new iPad 3 will use an LTE wireless network that will allow more data to flow than the current 3G network. Apple has also made an effort to refresh the software, so we should expect a lot of innovations.

One of them is the possibility of using the space for storing movies over the Internet within the iCloud service, which will be accessible via personal computers and Apple devices. This service has already allowed users to store their photos, music, and documents through it and later easily access them.

As with the iPhone 4S, users will also have voice commands with support for English, French, German and Japanese.
The new iPad 3 appeared in the largest markets in variants:
